Sep 10 southern VA to visit Steve

Steve fell in April and shattered his right ankle. He was told he wouldn't be able to work for a year, It was good to see him able to walk. He went back to work in October. The beautiful dog is Meghan's Dixie. Lexi is our newest grandchild, Meghan our oldest. We crashed at Meghan's townhome for the night.

Sep 5 Washington DC

Off to visit Sheri and David. We went to the new space museum at Dulles. Enjoyed good weather, a bit humid at times, and Mary Ann's good cooking.

Columbus OH and Debby

We got to Red Bay Al. on Aug 28 and spent the night. The next morning they advised that it would take 10 weeks to replace both sides. We left the coach in good hands and on to our car vacation.

We spent the night in Louisville Ky and of course had to have White Castles and Skyline Chilli.

Aug 31 into Columbus and Debby's. Debby was recovering from knee replacement surgery 4 weeks prior.

Mulan fell in love with Hogan the gentle giant who even shared his food with Mulan. She really enjoyed the week of green grass.

2011 EAST COAST VACATION

We left Phoenix 9:30 am Aug 22 and drove to Albuquerque. The second night at Amarillo Tx. The third night at Ft. Smith and then into Memphis for three nights. The RV park was in great shape to have been covered with 35 feet of water in the spring. It was very relaxing to sit by the river and watch the barges go up and down the Mississippi. Tom Sawyer RV Park is on the Arkansas side of Memphis. They have a free laundry service that is always welcome. Of course we went into Memphis and had dinner at Rendezvous, the best dry ribs, across the street from The Peabody Hotel.
