After a $1600 bill on our way thru IL to Ohio.  Stayed at a Thousand Trails outside Cleveland.

A nice surprise, would like to come back.

June 11

Crossed border to Wisc.  First problem of the trip.  Started spewing diesel.  Stopped at a rest stop and found a freightliner just 4 miles away.  RV towed in.  So 2 nights in LaCrosse in a hotel.  Actually a very nice little town we would never have known.

Left SD  Stopped at Wall Drug.  Not what I expected.

Crazy Horse.   So much more impressive than Mt Rushmore.  Far, far bigger

Went to Hill City for lunch and to Deadwood.  Won $65 at the Silverado Casino

Hart Ranch  South Dakota.  Wonderful campground.  Want to come back.

Arrived Golden 12 noon.  Beautiful campground downtown Golden beside a river.  Took the kids to Wild Wings for dinner and went to Garrett's scout meeting to sail boats.
