ALASKA TRIP

June 27th we left Phoenix at 9:30 am. heading to Las Vegas.  At 11:30 just north of Wickenberg we had a major blow out of the front left tire.  A narrow 2 lane part of the highway.  We were lucky noone was traveling the other lane as the RV went over the line.  Jon managed to pull off the highway but we were at the white line.  No where to go.  We sat for 7 hours with trucks passing inches away.  At 6:30 pm we were headed back to Phoenix to Freightliner for repairs.  Two new tires, pounding out dents and removing tire marks and 2 days .later we were back on track.  Arrived in LasVegas Friday at 4 pm.  We spent the evening at Green Valley relaxing and fortunely winning at slots.
Saturday we met good friends at the Cannery East for the Buffet.  $15 for 2 and the best prime rib.  Then to the Las Vegas Hotel to see the Ultimate Stones.  Very good show.  Jon thought he was 25 again.
